The Importance of being a Team.

Hey Boys and Girls.

So I made my blog live and known on my Facebook! Its scary for me! But this is all about facing fears!

I started the class off today with a selfie...
Thought I would represent with the Brazilian flag right behind me!

So todays class was a long one, as I did the beginners and the advance.
They were both great classes and I couldnt of thanked the partners I had!

Starting off with grips followed by some guard passing! Always good to practice, practice, practice!

Then we did King of the Hill with the three of us ladies! Did alot of passing and trying new things! I will focus more on the girls soon after the competition but as some of them are competing I dont want to give to much away. SO MUCH SECRECY!

Then the advance class was ALOT of sparring.... And it was AMAZING!
Again after the competition I can go into more detail.
But the main point of this post was to talk about TEAM.

ARBJJ, These letters mean alot to me, because my team mean alot to me, whether I have trained with you or not, spoken to you or not....May of never met you before!

I want to help my team mates succeed, in doing so I want to help them with their game and not my own! This isn't a competition between one another, its learning!

Even though I am competing soon I don't want to stop helping others and be selfish, if anything I want to help! Obviously some may think otherwise but thats negativity. I cannot stand negativity.

I was sparring today with my good friend Beth and we helped each other out and there is a chance the two of us could meet on Sunday... But we didn't care we helped one another....

I rolled with two blue belts also, Helen who showed me the importance of keeping my arms DOWN AND TO MYSELF! (Will not forget)
And Tim who chose to not spar he chose to help me... which seeing as I didn't ask him to shows how awesome these guys are, the fact he took the time to go through arm bars and Americana or Kimura...
Better mount positioning. Seriously was epic!
So both of you... THANK YOU!

So thats a quick one. I haven't got a clue when my next post will be but will be before the weekend!

Thanks
